Am I Eligible?

You can apply for any of the courses if you are able to provide evidence that you have ticked the following checklist:

  • You’ve completed year 12 or equivalent
  • You are over the age of 18
  • You meet one of the following English proficiency requirements-
    • Completed Year 12 or equivalent in English language
    • Have a valid IELTS score of 5.5 or another minimum English Language Test score. These tests must be taken no more than 2 years prior to the application.
  • If you have completed a qualification where English was the primary language of instruction, you may be eligible for an English language exemption.

The requirements to enrol from one course to another varies, so it’s best to go through the courses and know the checklist for the course of your choice.

How Do I Enrol?

Step 1: Apply online or contact us to express your interest, you will then be sent a Course Outline as well an Enrolment Form to complete.

Step 2: Provide evidence that you meet the Entry Requirements of the course (as indicated on the Course Outline).

Step 3: Once you have completed your enrolment form and gathered all the necessary evidence, send it to melbourne@united-pop.com.au or Level 8, 350 Queen Street, Melbourne VIC 3000.

Step 4: You will be contacted within 10 days to discuss your suitability and arrange an Entry Interview if your application is progressing.

Step 5: At the Entry Interview you will be required to undertake a Language, Learning and Numeracy assessment to assess your suitability and support needs.
If your application is approved, you will be provided with a Written Agreement that outlines the Terms and Conditions of your enrolment with UNITED POP Australia. You must keep a copy of this for your own records.

Step 6: You will then be required to pay your enrolment deposit and provide any additional evidence before finally receiving your electronic Confirmation of Enrolment letter (eCoE) as well as further information about your first training session and anything you need to bring or prepare prior.

Note: If you are applying for Credit (VET students only) you should indicate this on your enrolment and supply certified copies of your transcripts so we can assess your application for Credit. See the section on Credits the Student Handbook.

Do I Need To Provide Specific Documents?

When submitting an application, you should attach copies of all supporting documentation including:

  • Verified copies of qualifications
  • Identification – including your passport
  • Schooling and evidence of English Language level (within the last 2 years) such as IELTS or TOEFL.

Original or certified copies of your supporting academic documents must be provided to United POP upon request and if you do not provide them your enrolment may be cancelled. This may occur at course enrolment or at any time following commencement of the course.

You are domestic student if you are:

  • an Australian citizen (including dual citizens), or
  • a New Zealand citizen (including dual citizens), or
  • an Australian permanent resident, or
  • a holder of an Australian permanent humanitarian visa.

Applications are accepted on a first come – first served basis, but if a course is full, you will be offered a place in a course starting at a later date.
