Music Production

  • Produce and promote music
  • Start your music production business

Trimester Three

Sound Design 

You will learn how to:

  • Mix and edit recorded music
  • Create a final balance
  • Develop sound designs
  • Implement sound designs

Trimester Four

Music and Business

You will learn how to:

  • Engage in the music business industry
  • Apply your knowledge of music to your own practice

Trimester Five

Extend 

You will learn how to:

  • Extend techniques for analysing and arranging music
  • Extend techniques for composing music

Trimester Six

Perform

You will learn how to:

  • Plan and present music performances
  • Manage stagecraft aspects of performances

Blended learning is our delivery method.

Applicants for VET Diploma Courses must satisfy one of the following minimum entry criteria:

  • You must be over the age of 18
  • You must attend a Course Entry Interview

This course is available to International Students who are able to provide evidence that they:

  • Are over the age of 18.
  • Have completed year 12 or equivalent.
  • Have completed Year 12 English at an Australian secondary school or college, or equivalent.
  • If you have completed a qualification where English was the primary language of instruction, you may be eligible for an English language exemption.
  • IELTS, TOEFL, PTE and CAE: These tests must be taken no more than two years prior to application.
  • Meet one of the following English proficiency requirements:
    • a valid IELTS score of 5.5 or other minimum test scores indicated here
    • that they have successfully completed their Year 12 or equivalent in English Language.

You will be required to undertake a pre-training review and Language Literacy and Numeracy assessment as part of the application process:

Your pre-training review and LLN result will be used to:

  • Help United POP identify your educational support needs.
  • Demonstrate you are capable of undertaking the course – to be eligible for entry into a United POP Australia diploma of study you must achieve an exit Level 3 LLN outcome in both literacy and numeracy.

 

It is a condition of entry that upon acceptance, students provide evidence of having an Australian Student Visa (subclass 500). Please refer to this government website for information about applying.
